Funerals & Memorials

A funeral doesn’t have to be like ones you’ve been to in the past. Think about the funerals you have attended and which ones stand out for the right reasons?

Good funerals have the power to heal, honour & inspire. It’s a final opportunity to gather, share great memories, reflect and say a fond farewell. It is also a chance to celebrate all that was special and distinctive about your loved one.

I will spend time with you and listen to all of your special memories and reflections so that I am able to truly capture the essence of your loved one. Together, we will create a picture of their life to ensure that the ceremony is a genuine reflection of their personality.

The ceremony can be whatever you want and need it to be.

MEMORIALS

Quite often, families find the arranging of a funeral ceremony to be quite overwhelming at a time when they are processing their grief and struggling to make rushed decisions. Sometimes it just isn’t possible for all members of the family and friends to attend a funeral.

There are no time limits for a memorial ceremony. It can be held weeks, months or even a year after someone has passed away. Sometimes families choose a date that was significant or special to their loved one.

You have to total freedom to celebrate and remember your loved one in any way you choose. The ceremony can be a lot longer than a funeral and can include other elements like their favourite food or drink, videos, a greater selection of rituals, symbolic elements and celebrations.

The venue can be wherever you want!... in your garden, at the beach, in your favourite restaurant, up a mountain, out at sea… the possibilities are endless.

They can be simple, elaborate, traditional or quirky. You can honour you loved one at a time when you feel ready to do so, in a place that has a special significance to you, in a way that brings immense comfort to all who knew and loved them.
