There are so many symbolic rituals that can enhance your ceremony and make it more personal.
Sand blending, Hand Tying, Ring Blessing... all adding an extra special touch to your ceremony.
They are also a great opportunity to include children or other family members in your ceremony too.
A symbolic ritual can be created just for you, (like this Gin & Tonic Ceremony) or you can choose from one of the many popular rituals and customise it to suit your own personalities.
I include one unity ritual in my ceremonies if you wish to have one.
I am always happy to chat with you about what you would like to add to your ceremony to make it reflect your character perfectly.
Let your imagination go wild!
They can be fun, spiritual, traditional or cultural, but always meaningful. The choice as always is yours.
The spark of curiosity was ignited many years ago!
It all began when I went to a funeral for an amazing lady who had a vibrant personality and had led a very colourful life. I left the service feeling like she had been cheated of the kind of send off that she deserved. The ceremony was bland, uninspiring and soulless.
It really played on my mind, until the next funeral when my friend did the Eulogy and spoke in person about his Mum. This is obviously an incredibly difficult thing to do on such an emotional day. He spoke at length and had us smiling at funny memories in between tears of sadness.
I left that Ceremony feeling that absolutely everyone deserved a funeral like that. Your life in one day. A heartfelt, respectful & compassionate celebration of life... so I eventually trained to be a Funeral Celebrant.
Fast forward... after being asked by so many people if I also did Wedding Ceremonies, I decided to do my Wedding and Family Celebrant training so that I could offer wonderfully personal celebrations of life and love to everyone!
I am so delighted that I did too! It really is the most rewarding job and I love meeting all the families and couples that I work with.
I take huge pride in crafting truly unique and meaningful Ceremonies with love always at the heart of them. X
